My mom taught me to sew when I was fairly young and bought me my first sewing machine. After a few started (and failed) quilts, I fell in love with quilting. I'm self taught, through the help of the internet (shoutout to Missouri Star Quilt company!) and trial and error.

 

I love finding new fabrics and figuring out interesting ways of combining color and prints.  I started free motion quilting my quilt tops a few years ago and loved the texture and feel it produces in the fabric and batting after washing.  Free motion quilting allows me to explore new motifs and emphasizing different areas of my quilts.

 

My quilts and quilted goods are built with life in mind.  They're meant to go through the washer and dryer.
